Born and raised in Valencia, Spain, I moved to the UK in 2012. A couple of years later, I started making healthier food choices, because I learnt about sustainability, and because it made me feel lighter and more energetic.
I was quite happy being mostly vegetarian, but the moment I read How Not to Die, I could not unsee the science that was put before my eyes. Since then, I've followed (or tried to) a whole foods plant-based diet, and it feels great!
Over the years I started missing traditional Spanish food, and more often than not I could not find a vegan recipe that I liked. This is why I decided to start this blog, to share my own plant-based twist on Mediterranean food.
This blog was my pandemic hobby, but after a while social media consumed all my free time and it stopped being fun, so I don't post anymore. I decided to keep it because it has become my very own recipe book, coming back to edit posts whenever I improve my recipes.
